One of the things I didn’t expect while building Miivvandi was how much joy I would find in the process.
The creativity. The ideas. The way one thought would lead naturally to another.
There have been moments when it all seemed to come so fluently that I had to stop and recognize what was happening. I wasn’t simply building a website, writing a book, or creating another business. I was building from purpose.
And that feels different.
I’m creating a space that I believe can impact lives—not only now, but in the future. A space for honest conversations, wellness, growth, entrepreneurship, community, and the ordinary parts of life that shape who we become.
I also see it as asset building.
The hours I’m investing today are creating something that can continue to grow, serve people, and open new possibilities over time. That matters to me. I don’t want to spend my life working only to complete another task. I want the work to become something meaningful—something that can outlive the moment in which it was created.
When I look back at the number of hours I have logged, I sometimes wonder how I kept going.
There were days when I was tired. Days when I didn’t feel my best. Days when there was still corporate work, personal responsibility, and life happening around everything I was trying to build.
But the inspiration remained.
I can’t honestly say that discipline itself surprised me. I know that part of myself. What stood out was the level of discipline I maintained and how consistently I continued moving forward.
I didn’t need every day to feel perfect. I didn’t need to have every answer before taking the next step. I kept returning to the work because I understood why I was doing it.
That has reminded me that discipline doesn’t always look harsh or forced. Sometimes discipline is simply staying connected to what matters—even when you are tired.
Building Miivvandi is teaching me that purpose can create energy. Not the kind that keeps you from ever needing rest, but the kind that keeps the vision alive while you rest, adjust, learn, and begin again.
There is still so much to build. I’m still learning what this space can become.
But I already know that the process is changing me too.
And maybe that is part of building anything meaningful. While you are giving your time, ideas, and effort to the work, the work is quietly building something in you.
What are you building today that your future self will be grateful for?
